The board you're actually playing

Wild Ace is a JILI slot on a 5×4 grid paying 1024 ways. That phrase does real work, so it's worth unpacking rather than skimming: there are no paylines to trace. A win is any matching symbol landing on adjacent reels from the leftmost reel rightward, regardless of which row it sits in. Four rows across five reels, every combination of positions counted — that's where 1024 comes from.

The practical consequence: you can't play Wild Ace 'wrong' by picking bad lines, because there are no lines to pick. Your only lever is bet size, which makes the volatility rating matter more here than on a reel where you can adjust line count.

Golden cards, and what flipping means

The golden card is the engine of the whole game. It lands as a face-down gold-backed card somewhere on the grid, then flips — and what it flips into is a wild, a symbol that substitutes for the ones around it to complete combinations that otherwise wouldn't have paid.

The cascade: consecutive wins from one spin

Here's the part players miss on their first session. In Wild Ace, a paid win doesn't end the spin. The winning symbols clear off the grid, new symbols drop into the vacated positions, and if that new arrangement pays, it pays again — from the same original bet. Consecutive wins chain until a drop lands with nothing in it.

2. Note any golden card — it flips to a wild and can complete wins around it.
3. Let the win pay and clear rather than tapping through it; the clear is the point.
